As an avid angler and lover of the outdoors, he decided to take the two loves and combine them into a new career. Captain Chuck Matthews licensed by U.S.C.G and T.P.W.D as an all water-fishing guide. You might ask what makes North Padre Boating Adventures different from the other fishing guide services in the Corpus Christi area. He believes in customer service, and giving his clients the best possible fishing experience that he can. Clients have told him, that when they have been fishing with a guide, after catching a legal limit of a species they returned to the docks. Leaving them with a feeling of not getting what they thought they had paid for, a full day fishing trip. It is his belief if you catch a legal limit, the fishing is not over, because you have paid for a certain service and he feels it is his job to provide that service to best of his ability. Therefore, if you limit out on a species he will take you to find another species. Being a very conservative fisherman himself, believing that catching a limit may be fun, but that also releasing them back into nature to have something to catch on another day for you or your kids is just as important. Captain Chuck Matthews believes in “C.P.R.” Catch Photograph and Release. Fishing trips are from one angler to four anglers. Fishing gear and tackle provided, using Shimano Reels, Cabela Rods, Fins Braided superline, but you are welcome to bring your favorite fishing gear. North Padre Boating Adventures also offers Romantic Sunset Cruises, Dolphin Watching, and Bird Watching or just a family outing in a boat for something different to do with friends and family, we can accommodate up to six persons on these adventures. Captain Chuck is also available to operate your own personal vessel for those days you just want to be on the boat, and to be able to enjoy a day on your boat without all of the work, making more time for you to enjoy your family and friends.
